1. Purpose and scope

3. Payment

SEPA direct debit for annual subscriptions.

4. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from contract conclusion to exercise the right of withdrawal. TODO translate.

Crypto-wallets and financial liability exclusion

leggit provides a service of encrypted storage and post-mortem transmission of digital data. The service does NOT constitute a digital asset custody service (custodian), NOR a digital asset service provider (PSAN within the meaning of Article L54-10-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code), NOR an investment service, NOR a regulated payment service. No monetary or crypto-active value is ever held by leggit; only encrypted blobs of metadata and secrets are stored on its servers.

The Customer expressly acknowledges that:

leggit does not and will never have access to the plaintext contents of deposited seed phrases, private keys or passphrases (end-to-end zero-knowledge encryption);
the security and integrity of the entry and viewing device (PC, mobile) are the sole responsibility of the Customer;
the service cannot be held liable for the financial consequences of theft, loss, forgetting or compromise of a seed phrase or wallet, whatever the cause.

leggit's financial liability, should it be engaged for any reason related to this service, is capped at the total amount actually paid by the Customer under their subscription and token purchases over the twelve (12) months preceding the triggering event, expressly excluding:

any indirect loss (loss of chance, loss of investment opportunity, loss of earnings, loss of image);
any fluctuation in crypto-asset prices (market volatility);
any regulatory or tax change affecting the assets concerned;
any failure of a third-party exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.), hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor, Coldcard, etc.) or crypto service provider not linked to leggit.

The use of the crypto-wallet storage service entails explicit renewal, upon each deposit in standard mode, of acceptance of these limitations. A mandatory risk acknowledgement checkbox is validated by the Customer before each deposit.

These limitations are independent of the fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal provided for in Article 4 and other mandatory public policy provisions of consumer law. [TO BE VALIDATED BY LAWYER — limitation clauses + PSAN status]

6. Termination
